That's it! You now have yourself a ladder. Simply drag the ladders down to your inventory so you can use them. Now that you've added the items to the grid as described above, you'll notice that there are now 3 ladders in the box on the right. Lastly, the third row should contain 2 sticks on each side (again leaving the middlebox empty). For the 2nd row place 3 sticks (1 in each box).
In the 1st row place 2 sticks on each end box (leave the middlebox empty).
